What are your thoughts on this technology that the American government has?
5 points by whiteangel1984 •
I know someone who works for the government. They tell me the government has technologies that can 1. Read your thoughts 2. Pull your memories 3. Talk to you and only you without you owning a communication device. What are your thoughts?

Your friend is 1. high on hallucinogens 2: high on THC seltzers mixed with Alcohol 3. testing your IQ

What are your thoughts, have you consulted some AIs.. yet? what did they say?

Nope, my friend is as kosher as they come. By definition, if you work for the government you can't take drugs. This is information from a source who works directly with the gov.

Just because someone works for government, doesn't mean that that they have a clue or not playing you.. You know the drill, someone saying something is not a technical or scientific reference..

Did you ask Ais, what did they say?

I've worked within the federal government and while there I met people who if they weren't on drugs maybe they should be.

1 and 2 they're pulling your leg. 3 exists, apart from a room and the govt having a quite chat, by way of a bit of clever science and sound waves though the target I believe needs to be visible and not too far away.

LOL.. they are yelling from upstairs bedroom!
whiteangel1984 •
Nope, they're serious. They're not someone who will pull my leg for shits and giggles.
silverFork •
They are surely talking about a device. It is possible to focus sound to specific location.. there are multiple ways, short distance and longer ones.

I would guess someone has lead that person down the garden path, possibly to test their knowledge or common sense, but there's also the rise of the anti science cult [a] in the last 10 or so years - and some people have attained positions they should not occupy who might seriously believe such things

Consider 1, reading minds. If there was any tech that was any better than lie detection ... a scanning type system that was even good enough to hint at a rough notion of non conforming ideas [b] within minds -it would have been used and within the present government agencies and government, there would have been large changes in the power structure - more than anything reported so far.

By 2, remove memories - I have assumed specific / particular things, otherwise broadly, brain trauma and some drugs will do that.

[a] - rise of flat earth beliefs ... magnetism can be disrupted / dissolved with water ...

[b] and not intent by asking the right questions while under observation

1 and 2 are fantasy. 3 might be true if you drop "and only you" part.
whiteangel1984 •
And you know 1 and 2 are fantasy because...?
rzzzwilson •
They are extraordinary claims, beyond current science. So the claims they are true require extraordinary evidence, which is missing at the moment. It's not up to anyone to show evidence that the claims are false, those claiming they are true must show evidence that they are true.

DARPA and the USPTO have technical details on both taxpayer-funded research and patented technologies associated with these concepts. Some of the originating work came from fears of US enemies abroad experimenting with mind control.

1 & 3 are verified and apply.
imheretolearn •
Not in a delusional way but the government has the technology to do all 3
