Hello,

In the coming weeks, you’ll be able to delegate work directly to ChatGPT — from building sites and presentations to taking action on the web — without switching to the Work tab.

Tell ChatGPT what you want to accomplish. It can decide when to use these capabilities, break complex tasks into smaller steps, and work through them for you.

A shared allowance for ChatGPT and Codex

As part of this unified experience, your use of ChatGPT and Codex will draw from the same allowance in the coming weeks. We’re preparing carefully for this transition to help prevent disruption to your workflows. We expect most users won’t need to wait for their usage to reset more often than they do today. Usage will depend on model and task, with more advanced models and complex tasks using more of your allowance. Unlimited Instant is included in your plan and will not draw from your usage.

You will be able to see your combined remaining usage and reset times in Settings → Usage. If you use your full allowance, you can wait for it to reset, upgrade your plan, or buy credits to continue using eligible features.

I, for one, am not happy!

I'm going to miss my unlimited usage for asking about inane shit

Exactly. Instant is still unlimited but I like turning it on high for everything

It was weird that all their new UI widgets to explain things didn’t apply to the Work tab.

The ONLY REASON I have chatGPT and claude is because chatGPT web is separate from codex. I have no reason other than that for having the sub

Soon to work all the time we will have to add in a local model maybe use the frontier models for orchestration and review. I have done 17 years worth of work in about 8 months and I'm too addicted to this productivity to stop.
